"Texas Red had not cleared leather"
A Western version of “I am not left-handed.”
He died like Lalo. He had everything going on for him, except the knowledge. Surprise, surprise
This was underrated
Terrific Australian film
Bu film ismi ney yazan olurmuş rica etsem
I've seen dudes have malfunctions and look straight the barrel and start flagging people left n right. Had to take the gun from him and get RO. I left
Said I never had much use for one ! Never said I didn’t know how to use it! Perfect response at the prefect moment! His last !
The sun was skipping around the sky that day . . . the length of the shadows kept changing! Ha.

Great film…. Maybe his best.
When Quigley said You Ain't Bill Hickock, I believe a brown streak began running down his leg! haha
Australia is gay
It hurts my heart when I see the Sharps being thrown on the ground.
it was not a quote when you bought a colt it came with a parchment that said fear no man no matter what his size call on me and I will equalize after while the westerners followed up with God made man colonel colt made him equal
I HAVE SEEN THIS ONE MANY TIMES AND LOVE IT, VERY MUCH.😊🥇👌👍💚💐🎉🎊
Selleck used deadeye for his 3 second kills
Tom Selleck was a great cowboy actor!
Most people are training to be in a gunfight. In a gunfight, you may get shot but need to keep focused on defending yourself. If a piece of hot brass completely makes you lose control, what will you do if you are shot?
This was one best Westerns I seen the film 4 or 5 times I'm a big Tom Selleck fan, also agree that Allen Rickman was a great actor RIP.
One of greatest westerns of all time right up there with the outlaw Josey Wales and the searchers
I love my two 1860s
When I was training to be a Range Safety Officer, my instructor went through 3 gun safes before finding a weapon I did not know. It was a Webley Air Pistol.
Never underestimate other people and there abilities . they may surprise you . i love this movie
Ahh, the rest of the story. We carried BHPs as our secondary arms in Afghanistan. And no, I'm not some badass... I was a random staff officer. While in KAF we'd store our primary long arms in a sea can. I visited the can one day to get my rifle for a visit somewhere. The yank on duty looked quite agitated and worried. He looks at me and says, "you guys use these like the Australians, right? How the hell do I drop the hammer?" I took the BHP from his unsteady hands, inserted a ballpoint pen to engage the mag safety and fired the action. "Mag safety," I said, "lots of guys just use their finger but mine aren't quite long enough". He looked so relieved... like he had somehow broken it. Next tour, clearing weapons before entering the helo hanger at Mazar y Sharif. I clear my rifle then switch to pistol. My pen is buried in my clothing so, after removing the mag and inspecting the chamber, I reinsert the mag and point the pistol into the clearing barrel. Just as I ease springs the German officer standing next to me, yells "no!" and makes a grab for me. Click. "Relax dude. Mag safety." I could have inserted a comment about how the collective German DNA should remember that from when they had the FN factory churning them out for them once Belgium was occupied in 1940...
That's what I woulda done. 😁
Хотел хлопец .судьбу за яйца дернуть .только одного не учел .не любит она когда ее за яйца дергают
Today he found a use for one.
Slingshot must be done with a gun IN battery Slide release is easier when changing out mags
"Had no use for them... never said I didn't know how to use them."
This aint dodged city.
Stupid jerk owns all that land and decides to shoot a gunman, he knows nothing about.
I'm "Quite Certain" this my favorite western. When he rides off and looks back at Laura, I choke up every time
Hans Gruber...
This was one of my mom's favorite movies. I like it as well. I think my mom had a crush on tom selleck.
Ei amigos eu não cutuo com violência não mais eu faria ó mesmo se e pra salvar a minha pele.🙆
Severus!
There were a few good lines in that movie one was “ we already got rid of the misfits on our country……. (spit) and sent em back to England!!! “ And that one. “ said I didn’t have much use for one, never said I didn’t know how to use it!!” Great movie!!
That last scene ... 2 of the featured actors have box office sales of over $1.5 Billion. AND Tom Selleck is not one of them.
Possibly the most bad ass scene in movie history.
Estamos no BRASIL e aqui se fala e escreve-se em PORTUGUÊS! Sabiam disto ou NÃO GOSTAM DE NOSSA LÍNGUA???
Why would you give him a gun?
Marsden had a running fantasy that he was a real Old-West quick-draw. Quigley had told him "I've never had much use for one."(meaning pistols ) and Marsden thought he could play "Bill Hickok" against a novice opponent and have a bit of fun. Earlier in the film he goads a man into drawing against him so he could show off his speed.
What always got me about westerns depicted in the movie/TV shows, is how the survivors of the gun fighting just leave. I highly doubt in the reality of life, of the time period, they would leave all that money laying about. The weapons, the holster rigs, the ammo, possibly $ in the pockets. Just seems their would’ve been some looting of at least the weapons for resale.
3:03 I’d keep his farm. Mine now
Probably was expired, there is no way he could aim accurately after that spray
